If you have ever been to Dubai Airport you would know that place is huge and there is quite a lot to look at. After looking around at everything and getting settled for around 3hrs at the gate which we were told to be at by Jassie (our tour leader) is was realised half hour before we were meant to be boarding the flight that this was the wrong gate and right one was on the other side of the airport

Jump to the full entry & travel map Nairobi, Kenya Finally getting into Nairobi after 24hrs on nonstop traveling defiantly was relieving, all that was needed was to go through customs, collect our bags and make our in and out of quarantine which pretty much involved handing in a piece of paper. After getting through all of that we were greeted by a group of Masai, all wearing the traditional clothes and did some singing and dancing right in the middle of the airport and that’s when it hit me “I’m now in Africa”. Then we all loaded our stuff into the two buses that were waiting for us outside also coming with an 2hr bus trip to our next stop Kajiado Children’s Home

Jump to the full entry & travel map Kajiado, Rift Valley, Kenya Once waking up the next morning after some very well deserved sleep it was time to meet the kids of Kajiado Children’s Home an orphanage of about 50-70 children in the small town of Kajiado. Here we went and visited the Masai at the small village 10km or so from the orphanage, played a game of Basketball and Soccer losing miserably in both games (those Africans are just too good for us), leaning one of their songs and dance “Enkai Enkai Iyie Eji Olomayiana” and just hanging out with the kids of the home
