Jump to the full entry & travel map Port Douglas, Queensland, Australia Port Douglas 6th March 2010 After a great sleep in our new hotel in Port Douglas, Peppers Beach Club, (with Jacuzzi on the balcony – whoopee!) we went out to explore the area. It was incredibly hot but we immediately fell in love with Port Douglas as it was so upmarket with a pretty marina, great shops and restaurants and a beautiful beach, although the signs for ‘Beware of Crocodiles’ and ‘Stingers’ (which can be fatal) rather put us off the beach for good! We spent the afternoon relaxing by the wonderful hotel swimming pool, which was set up like a beach, with the first part of the pool sloping down in sand – heaven! And gazebos to relax in. We then had a wonderful fish meal at the Inlet restaurant watching the sunset – doesn’t get better than this!

Jump to the full entry & travel map Villamartin, Valencia, Spain So…here it is…the day has arrived when I have to go back home and face reality after five and a half months of lazing around. We went out last night for one last treat having had a busy day packing the camper van. We chose to eat at “The Clubhouse” restaurant in Villa Martin Plaza.

Jump to the full entry & travel map Bunaken, North Sulawesi, Indonesia Well Bunaken … I was surprised in one respect and a bit disappointed in another. If you spent the entire time in Bunaken underwater you would be amazed, but unfortunately we don’t have gills so staying underwater isn’t viable
