Jump to the full entry & travel map Salto, Uruguay We took another night bus from the Iguassu Falls and saw a massive thunderstorm in the middle of the night which was shaking the bus about and the driver just seemed to want to drive quicker to get through it… Arrived in Salto in the early morning, to find we were sharing the hotel with wannabee NBA basketball players, who earnt their keep by travelling around Uruguay, Argentina, Germany and Latvia of all places playing “professional” basketball. Of course they were all really arrogant but easy to wind up so we had a fun evening annoying them….
